The stable Android 14 update is now available for select Pixel devices and is set to expand to Realme and other brands later this year. Realme has already launched its Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, in Early Access for the Realme GT2 Pro, marking it as the initial device to receive the update.
The company has now officially shared its strategy to deploy the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 update to its devices in India. While the Realme GT2 Pro was the pioneer device to be updated in November 2023, a broader array of Realme devices is slated for updates in the ensuing months through the next year.
These Phones will get Realme UI 5.0 Early Access Update
With the unveiling of the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access roadmap, the tech powerhouse also disclosed the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 Early Access schedule for October 2023, aimed at eligible devices.
The Early Access rollout of the Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 has commenced with the Realme GT NEO 3 and Realme GT NEO 3 150W smartphones in India, with other regions soon to follow.
Concurrently, plans are afoot to launch the stable version of Realme UI 5.0 later this year. Realme GT 2 Pro is queued to be the first to snag it, while other qualifying devices will get the updates in the forthcoming year.
Regarding the scheduled deployment dates, Realme has earmarked October 2023 for the release of the Realme UI 5.0 Early Access version on the subsequent dates and locales:

The official changelog indicates that the latest version of Realme’s interface introduces a host of updates, including enhanced app launch speeds, smoother animations, refined photo and video permission management, additional apps for APP Cloner, and a visually soothing color scheme for an optimized color experience.
